following years of drought, 2017 brought rain - and more rain. intense summer heat peaked in september, causing a chaotic harvest. fiano’s hearty skins held on strong through the temperature spikes, yielding a bold and beautiful vintage.

fiano is a noble italian grape that has been cultivated in the campania region for over 2000 years. characterized by small loose bunches and tough straw-colored skin, it is a low-yielding grape beloved by bees.
